The process of meeting and boarding a wheelchair passenger

  • Meets the needs of the passenger that request the wheelchair
  • Helps the passenger from the airline counter through the security check point
  • The runner meets the needs of the passenger that request the wheelchair. Also, the runner informs the passenger that he or she will pre-board the aircraft 35 - 45 minutes prior to departure
  • 35 - 45 minutes prior to departure, the runner will have the wheelchair passenger seated on a wheelchair ready to board the aircraft
